Pre & Post Arrival Services

The Pre-Arrival Checklist ensures that students are fully prepared before traveling abroad for their studies. It includes all necessary steps from visa approval to settling initial arrangements in the destination country. Consultants guide students to confirm their university admission and tuition fee payments, book flights on time, and arrange accommodation (on-campus or private). Students must also prepare essential documents such as passport, visa, offer letter, academic transcripts, and health insurance. Other important tasks include attending pre-departure orientations, understanding local customs and laws, and ensuring they carry enough funds for initial expenses. Additionally, students should download university apps, learn about local transport, and keep emergency contact numbers handy.

Post-Arrival Student Checklist

The Post-Arrival Checklist helps students settle smoothly into their new academic and cultural environment. Upon arrival, students should inform their family and consultants, complete university registration and ID verification, and attend orientation sessions. They must open a local bank account, register with local authorities (if required), and arrange a SIM card for communication. Understanding public transport systems, medical services, and university support centers is also essential. Consultants encourage students to engage in campus life, connect with international offices, and manage their time effectively between studies and part-time work.

At the International Education Consultants Training Workshops (IECTW), participants are trained to prepare detailed Pre-Arrival and Post-Arrival Checklists for their clients. This ensures that consultants provide complete end-to-end support—making every student’s transition abroad safe, confident, and well-organized.
